Retail

Working alongside employees of local businesses, Miller’s retail workers, under the guidance of job coaches, perform store recovery tasks such as stocking, fronting, facing, go-backs, pricing, folding, hanging, sizing, packaging, checking expiration dates, setting up displays and customer service.

Interns are extensively trained in community safety and travel, under the direct supervision of dedicated staff members. Retail Interns use public transportation to get to and from work. 

They learn to work together as a team or individually, learn to take directions from supervisors, and time management skills.
