Graphic Arts

In the Graphic Arts program interns learn the technical aspects of graphic arts, such as formatting designs on the computer and using machinery, including a heat press, laser cutter and embroidery machine to create products.  

Also, Interns develop an understanding of the design process and create unique designs using computer software.

In addition, Interns learn to take orders from customers and communicate with suppliers via email.  They fill orders, count money and complete receipts for customers.

The ultimate goal of graphic arts is to help the interns gain new skills that they can apply to a job in the work world with an emphasis on soft skills such as following directions, accepting feedback, collaboration, etc.
