Entrepreneurial

The interns along with their teacher and support staff will be designing the newest work program at Miller. This “team” will be designing, producing, packaging and selling  greeting cards. Interns will develop an understanding of what it takes to run a small business, the greeting card design process and apply problem solving methods to product development.

Interns learn to work in teams, follow directions from a supervisor and customer service skills. They learn to take orders from customers and communicate with suppliers.

Interns are expected to come to the program work ready, maintain a positive work ethic, good communication and have good attendance.
