BUILDING SERVICES

One of the older work programs at Miller, Building Services was designed to allow students to gain real-world experience in the custodial services industry.

Visiting local community centers, schools, and school-based health clinics, the interns can practice what they have learned in real-world settings.

Inside, the Interns work with window washing equipment, industrial vacuums, floor mops and dusters, and powered floor scrubbing machines like the ones used at Costco and Home Depot.

Work-related soft skills are taught throughout the program to prepare each student for entry-level employment.

“Having the Miller Building Services Interns working in the clinic has freed my staff to focus on patient care.”
