Clerical Services /Job Skills

The Clerical Services program was developed to allow interns to gain practical experience in a variety of job/office skills.

The students are exposed to a variety of office related skills including: measuring, counting, collating, assembling, and shredding. Since computers are used every day in the modern office, Interns use computers to develop typing and data entry skills. They learn to operate copiers, ID makers, laminators, and high speed industrial shredders.

Besides the development of the ‘hard” skills involved with working in a modern office, the clerical services program also place an emphasis on  the development of a variety of soft skills, focusing on behavior, responsibility and productivity.
